Reduces damage to the side cowl and engine in the event of a fall.
The tip of the aluminum base bracket uses a Duracon slider.
Install the slider in a position where the side cowl is likely to be damaged in the event of a fall.
The base bracket is designed to easily break in order to reduce the burden on the vehicle body attachment part in the event of an excessive fall.
No modification to the cowl is required; installation is possible without modification.
Precautions for installation
Installation of this product requires removal and removal of the side cowl.
Please be sure to request installation by a qualified and experienced person such as a mechanic.
Bolts must be installed using a thread locking agent to prevent them from loosening.
Please note that if you do not use a thread locking agent, the bolts may loosen due to vibration while driving.
